Right Hand

MMM

Probably inspired by C&C Music Factory’s song – “Things that may make you go hmm”, MMM lets you choose which program appears in your Windows right-click menu. With a growing list of application that one uses, almost every application adds on to the context menu. This results in a long list that pops-up which takes longer to load which has a lot of stuff you don’t even need.
The freeware application lets you configure any right-click menu no matter which file you right-click on. This is great as many files have specific tasks added there for a particular file type. How it does this is confusing at first. You need to right-click a file and then immediately launch MMM. This will show you a list of commands that can be run, which you can drag under ‘Hidden items’ or ‘Rarely used’. The latter option will give you an additional option by the same name in right-click menu.
The program runs in the memory but barely takes any resources. It needs just about 508 kb. The paid counterpart allows more functionality and also shows a colored bar in the right-click menu.

For: Customize your right-click context menu, easy to use.
Against: Displays a colored bar in the context menu.
